She has a qualification in Accounts Administration, and a background in the hospitality and tourism sectors. At present, Urszula is pursuing a Diploma in Accounting and Business . She looks after all administrative and financial duties in Maryborough Nursing Home. She also assists residents and their relatives with any queries they might have. Urszula is often the first point of contact for many families and residents. Providing a time for caregivers to have ‘a break’ from their usual duties caring for their loved one while having the peace of mind that they are receiving high quality care.

Jacqui has over 18 years of experience working within Nursing Homes as an Administrator. Jacqui’s background is in the IT profession having previously worked in Dublin, Belgium and Australia. The care taken of my aunt by all the staff was excellent and couldnt be faulted in any way. The lovely rapport each of them had with her made her time there very happy. Our chefs Janos and Jim are passionate about nutrition and make the dining experience a treat.
In CareChoice Montenotte, we are passionate about social activities and the benefits they offer our residents quality of life. We gather feedback and requests from our residents and their families to help us develop our activities programme. As a result, our activities programme is continuously updated and is always centred around the opinions and desires of our residents. Our emphasis is very much on providing first class care in a secure homely environment where residents’ privacy, dignity and independence are respected at all times.
We also cater for special occasions like themed evenings or celebrations in our Home. We have a single storey 25 beds purpose-built residence with large car parking facilities situated 2 kilometres from Douglas village and 6 kilometres from Cork city close to all amenities. In 2016 a state-of-the-art large extension was completed incorporating 10 new bedrooms, treatment room, laundry, offices, staff room, nurses’ station, and enclosed garden. The existing building was renovated to reflect the ambiance of the new built. Their nursing home is beautifully situated and located close to all the local amenities. Their qualified staff provide 24 hour nursing care and their facilities represent a home away from home for the resident.
They have 21 single rooms, eight twin rooms and one triple room, most of which are en-suite. They have a kitchen and dining area, three day rooms, an outside patio area with seating and a garden to enjoy in fine weather. All laundry being done in the home must be labelled with the resident’s name.
